A Letter to Students and Teachers
The letter below can be found in your textbook, but we feel providing this message on the website is an important reinforcement for the benefits Leaving the Comfort Zone has to offer. RLS
Dear Students,
Students typically do not enjoy textbooks, but we based our book’s design on traits that appeal to teens. Fun activities help classes get to know each other better and share their thoughts with friends. Students learn using new, enriching literature from famous movies and bands, such as Lord of the Rings, The Band Perry, and Delta Rae. All of our pieces apply to the real world, allowing students to understand tough topics like death or media censorship. Even with all this text book gives teens it remains small, making it lighter and easier to carry in a book bag. Teens will benefit from this book with a better understanding of English, since the book uses multiple ways to keep them interested.
Dear Teachers,
Another benefit from this textbook is that it makes teaching English more enjoyable for both the teacher and their students. An inviting color scheme welcomes each teacher and student with every page, making the book a joy to look at and read. We provided discussion questions and fun activities with each piece to generate discussion and help with lesson plans. Our book uses different art forms in each chapter, allowing students to get culturally and artistically enriched as they learn about English. A combination of new and old literature helps this book appeal to the interest of each student and teacher, making classes more engaging. The different types of literature for our book are essential for widening student’s cultural knowledge and enjoyment of English; however, the new literature included in the book also appeals to students, provoking thought and interesting essays for teachers to read. Our textbook is a beneficial addition to any classroom, helping the teacher get their students engaged and improving their writing abilities. RLS
